Worn maybe once, so practically still new. My son had to have a camo jacket, got this one and then decided that he didn't want a camo jacket. It is insulated, has zip-off hood, has snap pouch on each front side as well as hand pockets. I really don't know anything about hunting gear, but if you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer. It is very thick and would be warm and cozy for just a regular jacket during our "cold" spells or for hunting.
